Catherine Mackay
CATHERINE MACKAY (2027) (she/her) is a second-year Theater Management MFA candidate at David Geffen School of Drama at Yale. This fall, she will serve as Associate Managing Director of the Yale Cabaret. Born and raised in Connecticut, Catherine is an arts administrator who fell in love with storytelling at an early age while participating in all aspects of her local community theater. She is forever deeply grateful to that formative space for instilling in her the spirit of teamwork, collaboration, celebration, and the belief that anything is possible when a group of passionate theater people come together. Prior to attending DGSD, Catherine served as Development & Special Events Manager at Westport Country Playhouse and worked in front-of-house at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts. She holds a BA in Theatre from Bucknell University. In her spare time, Catherine enjoys spontaneous adventures, campfires and s’mores, random deep dives, board games, listening to movie scores, and finding joy in life’s small moments.
